WEEKLY MAHJONG SOCIAL PLAY JUST $8 PER SEAT Looking for a regular place to play Mahjong? Join our weekly Social Play nights at Mahjong at Ono! Whether you're looking to practice, meet new friends, or simply enjoy an evening of Mahjong, you'll always have a place at our tables. Designed for players who already know the basics of American Mahjong, Social Play offers a fun, welcoming environment to build confidence, sharpen your skills, and connect with other local players. WHO CAN ATTEND? Players should understand the basic flow of American Mahjong and be able to play independently. NMJL rules questions are welcome, but Social Play is not a lesson. New to Mahjong? Start with Mahjong 101, then join us for Social Play. ADMISSION $8 online • $10 at the door, if space is available SCHEDULE 6:15 PM Doors open. Check-in 6:30 PM Meet players & organize tables 6:40 PM Play begins WHAT TO EXPECT • Friendly, welcoming atmosphere • Open play with local Mahjong players • Seating by experience level when possible • Host available for seating, introductions, and NMJL rules questions • All Mahjong supplies provided Bring your 2026 NMJL card if you have one. Loaner cards are available. Have your own Mahjong set? Feel free to bring and use it! NEED EXTRA SUPPORT? Choose Guided Play instead of Social Play. For $25 per seat, an instructor is assigned to your table to answer questions, offer strategy tips, and provide extra support throughout the session. Guided Play is not a lesson, but it's a great bridge between classes and independent play. Guided Play meets in the same room at the same time as Social Play, so you can enjoy the community while receiving additional support. Only 8 Guided Play seats are available. FOOD & DRINK Ono Offshore offers beer, cider, wine, seltzer, and non-alcoholic beverages. Grab dinner beforehand from The Roaming Coyote, located just across the street inside Ono Brewing. Full meals are not permitted at the Mahjong tables, but beverages and small snacks are welcome. We have small snacks for sale at Ono Offshore. REFUND POLICY Registrations are non-refundable. If you can't attend, you're welcome to transfer your seat to another player by emailing us in advance.
