Ready to build confidence, improve your game, and enjoy a fun evening of Mahjong each week? Our Mahjong League is a four-week social play experience designed for players who want consistent play, light competition, and a welcoming community. Whether you’ve recently completed Mahjong 101 or already have experience with American Mahjong, this league is a great way to practice, connect, and have fun. 📅 DATES & TIMES Wednesdays | 6:30–8:30 PM April 29, May 6, May 13, and May 20 Doors open at 6:00 PM for check-in and socializing. 📍 LOCATION Ono Offshore 4515 Daly Drive, Suite N, Chantilly, VA 👥 LEAGUE DETAILS • Limited to 32 players • All Mahjong supplies provided except the NMJL card • Players must bring a 2026 NMJL card • Need a card? You may purchase one from Mahjong at Ono on the first night of league play 🌺 WHO SHOULD JOIN All experience levels are welcome. This league is beginner-friendly, and many participants have recently completed Mahjong 101. Players should know the basics of American Mahjong and be able to play independently without instruction. League play follows NMJL rules using the 2026 card. 🀄 HOW IT WORKS • Minimum of 4 games each night with opportunities for bonus games • Rotating tables each week to meet and play with different players • Optional seating by experience level when possible 🏆 RECOGNITION & FUN • Weekly recognition and fun acknowledgements throughout the session • Every Mahjong win earns a small trinket prize (Lucky Ducks and other fun surprises!) • Friendly standings will be tracked throughout the 4 weeks, with special recognition for the overall league leader at the end of the session League play is designed to be social, supportive, and focused on improving skills, building confidence, and enjoying the Mahjong community. 🍻 FOOD & DRINK Snacks and beverages available for purchase onsite. Players are also welcome to visit Odd BBQ at Ono Brewing before or after play. 🔁 SUBSTITUTES Can’t attend one week? You may send a substitute or request assistance finding one. 💳 PRICING $120 includes all four weeks of organized league play, prizes, and a fun social experience. 📌 POLICIES All registrations are final and non-refundable. Substitutes are permitted. League requires a minimum of 20 players to run. New to Mahjong? There’s still time to learn before league begins! Sign up for Mahjong 101 and consider a Guided Play or Social Play session to build confidence before joining league play.
